The "refill store" for the local community
Plastic is the most abundant type of waste in the oceans, and it’s estimated that more than 10 million tons of plastic are dumped into our oceans every year. It’s no wonder: we are producing over 380 million tons of plastic per year and up to 50% of that is for single-use. Single-use! Think about it: it’s utilized for just a few moments, but on the planet for several hundred years.
Toko Anti Plastic (TAP), is a small store in the heart of the village where household products are sold and people can bring their containers to refill what they need in smaller quantities. Toko Anti Plastik was founded to offer a sustainable, convenient alternative to plastic and a solution to a problem Bali residents face every day.
"So, when it comes to plastic waste, shouldn't the first thought be
to reduce not recycle it?"
